The Salvation Army believes that Summer Adventure Camp is an opportunity every child should have!
Summer adventures, campfires, a week by the lake, and lifelong friendships, are just some of the memories that Adventure Camp campers will forever hold near and dear to their hearts. Camp is here to help teach kids how to live courageously, make new friends, have a positive attitude, and learn some new life lessons.
When families struggle financially, they often cannot afford the luxury of sending their kid to camp. Here at Salvation Army Strathroy, we offer a subsidy program for camp fees – so that children, who may not otherwise have the opportunity, get to enjoy and experience the excitement of a week at summer camp!
With the generous support of our community, we want to continue providing this summer camp experience to kids this year, and for years to come. Here at Salvation Army Strathroy, we send 5 kids to Adventure Camp every year.
